Everything got started sometime around February ’99?...in the Hint House (a multi-level
complex neatly
situated on 131st street in Harlem), and at the end of a long, eclectic bill
of some of NY’s finest free and jazz soloists and combos. Instruments were lifted — an
apparition of vaudeville emerged and remained. The Suntanama was born.
